This case is the best Zune 80/120GB case on the market. I had another case and it was clear and it got all scratched up, and the way the case was made it always got dust/dirt under the case which made me constantly have to take it off and clean it. Also the way the case was made you could only use the Zune headphones which was a bit annoying. It abstructed larger plugs from being plugged in.
This case fresh out of box is stunning. It immediately catches your eye. It's metal so it's very durable, and let me just say that your Zune will never be better protected. It slides in very snug and is virtually impossible for it to accidentally fall out of the case. The screen protector is very glossy and shiny and does not limit the screen's resolution in any way.
I am very pleased with this case. It's the best on the market and totally worth the $$. This is what needs to be sold in Best Buy instead of their other cases.

I bought my first Armor case almost 2 years ago when I bought my Zune since I'm clumsy. I have dropped, kicked, banged and beaten my case on a daily basis. My Zune sees hours of daily use, and no other case would have survived. After a year the screen became less clear due to the myriad of tiny scratches, but this was only an issue when watching a movie. And using the super strong clip, I propped up the Zune for hands free viewing and simply lifted the cover up. So much for the scratches being and issue. And besides, for navigating the Zune it wasn't a problem. I am actually buying a second one as my first is finally looking too bad to continue. Of course it took dropping the Zune at 50mph on my motorcycle trying to get it out of my pocket. It bounced and slid for over 100 feet and the only casualty is the case itself. My Zune still looks scratch free and new after 2 years, even after my latest mishap. Do you need a better testimonial?

I only recently switched over to Zune. For a few years I used and iPod. I had a case for that, too, but the main problem I have always had with any sort of protective cases are that most of them are rubberized, and therefore difficult to get in and out of one's pocket with all the drag. So I ended up just throwing the case out, and naturally over time my iPod got very nicely scratched and banged up. However, this armor case does what I consider to be an incredible job. The reviewer who said this case is made out of plastic either received the wrong product, or doesn't know what they are talking about. This case is metal with an impact-resistant plastic window. I have been using this case since the first day I received my Zune, and my Zune shows absolutely no wear at all. It still looks brand new, shiny and flawless. There is an opening at the top, bottom, and a vent at the top of the back, so small particles CAN make their way in, but a problem easily solved by opening the case (a completely painless process, definitely a plus when so many cases these days are hard to reopen once attached).
This case was designed nearly perfectly. There is always going to be some sort of drawback, and in this case's well...case, it's the weight. It isn't terribly heavy, but it is noticeable. It rendered, for me at least, the clip that comes with it rather useless, as when I'm moving around the clip doesn't hold it in place very well because it is too weighty. But it's not too big of a problem, as you can just put it in your pocket instead (Unless you don't have pockets, of course). However, aside from that, I have absolutely no complaints. One of the coolest features are the tiny catches on the inside of the case that hold your Zune in place. This isn't like a "You put your player inside and closing the front plate keeps it securely inside." If you open the front and tip it upside down or whatever you want, you Zune will not move. It isn't terribly obvious from the pictures, but your player doesn't just get set inside the case, you have to slide it in from the top down, and it fits wonderfully.
All in all, if you don't mind a little extra weight, do NOT pass on this case. It is incredibly useful for keeping your Zune looking fantastic.

Bullet proof your Zune May 07, 2010

This case is like a like a bullet proof vest for your Zune. The fit is nice and snug so nothin' moves around inside, there's wide openings for the touch pad and headphone's. Mine does not fit on my docking station unless you take it out of the case ( I'm not concerned with protecting it while it's on the docking station anyway!!! ) The only problem I can see is the plastic cover for the screen scrathes easily when you clean it. A micro fiber cloth for polishing cars should eliminate those problems. Plastic screen aside this puppy looks like you could throw it at a wall and still listen to music later. No regrets about this purchase

I had a couple other cases that fit very loosely on my 120 GB Zune, this is very form fitting and doesn't rattle around in the case. The case is metal, but very light weight and is well worth the 15 bucks. It also comes with a belt clip and rope to carry it, but I threw it away.
