My husband is obsessed with listening to his ipod on his daily one-hour commute, so when his $50+ FM transmitter/car charger broke, he was not a happy camper. We searched in all kinds of stores, but could not find a reasonably-priced FM transmitter/car charger anywhere. Then I started searching online, and that's where I found this fantastic product.
I'll admit I was concerned. Usually when a product is priced so far under value, you have to question its quality. I'm glad I took my chances though. Not only does this FM transmitter/car charger work beautifully (as long as you have it set to the right station), it exceeded our expectations. We were beyond pleased with the LCD screen display, the holder for the ipod, and the remote control.
In addition to receiving such excellent quality, the delivery was incredibly fast and the product arrived much sooner than the expected shipping date that was indicated.
I would highly recommend this product and this seller to everyone. A+++

What stands out of this item is the quality of the fm transmitter part. The remote control is a plus that perhaps most people won't even use since you have the iphone handy. I have found that the unit is fairly firm from the lighter connector but I don't like the iphone holder section at all. It's hard to adjust it to the phone so it doesn't slip. There are perhaps other models similar to this item that may be better.

I purchased this to replace one that was stolen when my car was broken into. I LOVE it. I can actually use it to prop up my cell phone when I am using it for a GPS too! It DOES charge the ipod while it is working too! The music doesn't come out scratchy or hard to hear. Best buy.

My unit came without a user manual. Relatively straight forward to connect and use. My iphone 4 (completely up to date) displayed "this device does not support charging" and gave me the choice to dismiss. FM transmitter seems to work well as the sound was clear coming out of my vehicle speakers. I could not figure out how to turn it off when I took my phone out. Small radio frequency display on top stays illuminated while plugged in to the power socket. Had to unplug to turn off. Does not provide hands free phone usage through vehicle speakers that I could tell. But, for under $15 I can listen to my ipod, which I couldn't do before.
UPDATE:I found that if you plug the unit in to the power socket first and then plug the cable in to the bottom of iphone,it will charge. Also, hands free speaker phone through car stereo speakers only works if the small 8" 3.5mm cable is plugged in to iphone and unit along with bottom cable.

This is great it helps my 32gig iPod get me thru the long driving days. fits snug in the outlet. I should have ordered enough for all my vehicles!!!
