Quick and Easy Jul 18, 2008
By C. Matas We purchased this for long car rides with the kids. It attaches very easily (easy to take down if you go into a restaurant - just unhook and leave the DVD player attached, stick it under the seat) also easy to attach the dvd player. It does wiggle some but won't fall off, doesn't bother the kids and the dvd screen is adjustable so compensates. The only little pain is that when I swivel the screen to face me (to get it going for the kids) you have to tug on the elastic strap - it catches under the screen - no way around that really. ALSO - I actually installed it into the car backwards (on purpose!) so that the contols of the DVD face me, swivel the screen to face the backseat - works great that way. All-in-all was a very good value and much better than a pile of straps! We will use it for a long time to come.

Worth the money Jun 13, 2008
By Jaime Emlen
"illini"
I purchased the Mogo for a 15 hour road trip we took with our 2 and 6 year old kids. This product worked very well. It installs and uninstalls in a cinch. I feel it was definitely worth the money. The only issues we had was that it did wiggle a little with the car movement, but the kids didn't seem to mind. The other issue we had is that it did block the lower 1/3 of our rearview, but it did not bother us as we drove. We just used our side mirrors a bit more. Overall we were very satisfied with this purchase and would recommed it.

Clever design and works as described. Feb 21, 2009
By D. Polson This DVD player car mount has a nice clever design - I like the built in swivel mount so that you can have the front seats set at different forward-backward positions and still keep the DVD player in a good viewing position for those in the back seats. The mount is surprisingly stable - it wobbles a bit with each bump in the road, but not as much as one might expect. The mount would be even better if: [1] the arms that hook around the front seat headrests were a bit heavier-duty (plastic-covered metal would be better than all plastic); and [2] if the DVD player could be held in place with a vice-style friction mount (which would enable much better access for loading DVDs without moving the bungee-type strap around) instead of the straps used to attach the DVD player to the base. All in all, an acceptable product that for the most part does what it needs to do but could be even better with a couple of design tweaks.

Simple, Effective Solution Jan 03, 2010
By Cap'n G This device is so simple to use/install, but works so good you'll wonder why it wasn't invented sooner. It only takes seconds to set-up or takedown and securely holds your DVD player with minimal `wiggle' (hooks on both sides secure to the headrest supports and a Velcro and bungee strap hold the DVD player to the pad). We recently used it on a 2,500 mile round trip and it performed without flaw or difficulty.

This item is a bit baffling at first. Apr 03, 2011
By jim99000 I think the reviewers discussing this product are actually discussing two different products. The one I received in early April 2011 doesn't swivel all the way around as one reviewer from 2008 mentioned, and even the picture on the box is different than the product inside - instead of the top surface of the mount having two smaller openings in between the rectangular openings (as shown on the box), there is a disk-looking piece between the two openings held down by five screws (see photo #2 in the Amazon description). I'm thinking the design must have been changed recently. The unit I received was called a Digital Innovations "SecureMount" on the box. Other reviewers seems to have the type of unit shown in the picture on the box, which also is the type of unit sold by Walmart under the Digital Innovations "Mogo" name. Originally upon receipt I thought the SecureMount design was defective because the arms were at a 30 degree angle and didn't seem like they could be moved into a straight line because they were caged in by plastic brackets on the back. I then realized the arms could be put into a straight line by turning the unit over and pushing the BACK of EACH arm (the side opposite from the hook) forward in the direction of the hook until the BACK of EACH arm is pushed through the plastic bracket that originally holds both arms. By doing this, the back of each arm can be freed from the plastic bracket and the whole disk assembly can be rotated into a straight line. After that the product works as intended.
