Great Screen!! Oct 29, 2008
By Xiong, E. I ordered this screen on Friday night, it shipped the next day (Saturday) and arrived at my door on Monday. That was fast!! Make sure you sit 15-20 feet away to enjoy it because this screen is HUGE!!! My theater room is 20'x20' and I have to sit way at the back to appreciate this thing. This screen is actually the Spectrum/VMAX2(PLUS) series. The screen came with the IR remote, 12V trigger cable, and bubble level. It has no mounting hardware (i.e. screws, L-brackets, etc.). No problem, a trip to the hardware store fixed that problem. Once it's mounted, the screen slides down nicely (slowly) with the touch of the remote. I'm using this screen with my Panasonic PT-AE2000U and love it so far!!! I would definitely recommend it for the price.

WOW Jul 23, 2007
By PABLO ALFONSO This electric powered motorized projection screen is worth every penny. I just love the ease and simplicity to operate it plus the case color matches my wall. Got this screen as soon as Amazon sold literally 200 screens in 2 to 3 days, no kidding. I was hesitating to buy one when there was 220 screens left, but checked 3 days after and just 2 was left, guess it was a steal. Installed it in my ceiling overhang which happened to be at the perfect 10 feet in height. Bought a heavy duty dry wall fastener to hang it from and WOW, it worked perfectly as expected, even like the motorize sound it makes, screen when open hangs 5 feet from the floor. Got my 1080P Sony Pearl projector installed up the ceiling,I finally got my home theater room, complete with thick dark window shades for perfect viewing.

Very pleased Jan 31, 2011
By Sonny G Great screen quality for the price. Super quiet. My only complaint is that the power cable is not long enough if your wall socket is located at the bottom (as most are). I had to buy a 3 foot extension cable. I guess on the flip side, people will complain that its too long and difficult to hide. But the screen itself is very nice, works perfectly with my Harmony universal remote. The black borders hides the projectors light leakage.

Awesome Value Apr 19, 2011
By Trusty in Ohio We absolutly love this screen. Picture quality is superb,(Blu-Ray, Dish Network HD, Wii, HTPC, and 2600 lumes projector),value is awesome, motor is almost completely silent. If someone in the room is talking you will not hear it go up or down. Came with all mounting hardware for the screen and accessories. It is a BIG screen. Screen housing is 10' wide and with screen in the fully down position, it is approx. 70" from top of screen to bottom.
Rebate 1: A free projector mount can be used as a flush mount or with the included 24" extension tube. The rebate was an awesome suprise!!! Rebate for projector mount is valid until 12/31/2011 and there is an $18.00 shipping and handling fee for the lower 48. A little more for the rest and Canada. They say about 2 to 3 weeks for it to arrive. Will try and remember to update this review when I do receive it.
Rebate 2:There is also a rebate for a free wall switch that looks like a standard wall light switch and installs into a standard electrical box if you need it. I did not, so I don't have the details on the wall switch or it's rebate. All rebates can be completely filled out online. I attached a copy of the Amazon receipt to the online form. No USPS.
It does come with a wired wall mount control that has 3 buttons just like the wireless IR remote. Up, Stop, and Down. The wire is 4' long and has a RJ45 connector that plugs into the bottom left side of the screen housing which is also where the IR sensor is located. You can either use the IR remote, the wired controller, or both. The wired controller doesn't have to be hooked up. Mine is not but i have it stored close to the screen in case remote breaks, is lost, or batteries die with no replacements in the house. At least in our application, the included IR remote (which also has a wall mountable holder if you want it), works at least 40' away in a room that only has cheap mini blinds over the windows. We have no need to purchase the optional RF remote. Thanks Amazon for an awesome product at a price of $359 USD. BTW: I do not work for Elite Screens or Amazon. :) I just really like everything about thtis screen.

Excellent screen at an affordable price Dec 29, 2010
By John R. Pattison I am very pleased with this product. I never would have imagined that I could get a motorized screen for this price. The screen is slow, but I don't see that as a problem since projectors take a minute to warm up. It is whisper quiet, which is a very nice plus. It also has a 12-volt trigger which you can connect to some projectors to automatically lower the screen when the projector turns on, and retract it when the projector turns off. There is an infrared remote control included, and you can optionally purchase a wired remote control.
