Excellent! May 15, 2008

I just installed my screen two days ago. Because of the size, I did need another person to help hold it. It took us less than 5 minutes to install it. The screen movement is very slow but still extended in less than a minute. The slow movement made it very easy for me to stop at the desired location. I am using a Mitsubishi HC1500 projector (HD). The picture is awesome and exceeds my expectations. I inquired about other screens at a nationally owned theater store. In order to get the same features as this screen (remote, trigger, etc), it was going to cost around $1000. The money that I saved is helping pay for all of the beer that my neighbors are now drinking while watching the games!
The shipment was quick and arrived defect free.
My only complaint is that it took me a lot of searching to figure out how to connect the trigger. The trigger function allows the screen to automatically drop/rise when the projector is powered on/off. The included trigger connects into the screen. In order to connect it into a trigger capable LCD projector, you only need to use two wires from a Cat 5 cable (the cable has to be purchased separately). Those two wires can be connected in to a 1/8" Mini Stereo Phone Plug (which can be purchased at a store that sells radio equipment).
Update on 8/11/09: The trigger doesn't work 100% of the time. So I disconnected it and just leave the screen down. I do not have the screen mounted in a location where it needs to be up.

The screen moving up and down at its own will Aug 08, 2008
By SL I have returned the screen because of the malfunction. It only comes with the remote control and does not include the wired wall-mount control ($50 + shipping if purchase from elitescreen.com). When I first set it up and connected it with power, without touching any button on the remote control, the screen started moving down for a few seconds, then going back up for a few seconds, then moving down again, and then moving up again, .... It keeps doing that at its own will for no reason and I have no ways of making it to stop. Removed batteries from the remote control did not help. At a point, the screen started to tilt and eventually stuck in the middle of the operation.

BUY! THIS SCREEN Nov 21, 2008
By James Morris If your looking for a screen for your HD projector, this is perfect and priced right. I priced this at other sites and came back here. I saw it for as much $499 on other sites. The electric motion is quiet and steady. The remote range leaves a little bit to be desired. You have to be within about 25 feet of the screen for the remote to work. Besides that the unit went up easy and works great. Oh, it looks great with the HD projector also.

Great screen. Oct 18, 2008

This is a great screen for the price looks and works great...some buyers have had problems mostly due to shipping damages (mine arrived with some box damage but the contents were fine).replaced a cheapo pull down screen and happy I did.only flaw very minor is that my harmony remote would activate the screen when selecting the old s-vhs deck to watch a tape with on the tv...the IR codes must have been similar for turning on the vcr and rolling the screen down, but you could hardwire the screen and block the sensor or send the vcr to the graveyard which is what i did.

Screen Trigger Aug 17, 2008
By Milind A. Lombar Screen quality is excellant but the trigger function needs improvement. Using one of the reviews posted on the customer comments I tried using a CAT5/6 cable to connect the screen to my projector (Mistubishi 5000U). The screen motor makes a clicking sound when I power on my projector but does not drop down. Also, I did not get the wall unit switch as mentioned in the product description. Amazon although reduced the cost fractionally to match the current cost of the screen, they still haven't sent me a new switch as communicated by the Amazon representative.
