2Not really that waterproof  Dec 28, 2010 By Leo
I bought this item because i enjoy swimming on a regular basis and this mp3 player seemed to get pretty good reviews. It arrived after about 2 weeks so it didn't take too long, but i still would have liked it sooner. The waterproof headphones that came with it worked alright, sometimes water would get in and the sound was a bit muffled, but overall the headphones weren't bad. The real problem was the mp3 player itself, I used it for about 2 or 3 weeks, swimming once a day 5 times a week. So a little above average in use, but I took good care of it, and yet after about 15 times in the pool, water seeped in the front cover and the thing was ruined. Not to mention that after only about 7 uses the player would start to charge sporadically when plugged into my laptop and only charge about half way after being plugged in for 5 hours or so. Needless to say I found this product very disappointing.

3Not user friendly  Aug 26, 2010 By Kirke Mcvay "Grn. Mtn. Rambo"
Although it works, I still have difficulty with the 3 function keys doing everything. There's like a code you have to memorize to maximize usability. The cords are short and it is difficult to get it into and stay in your ear. You have to use your goggles to keep it in your ear while swimming. I also used it in my helmet while bicycling and it worked better there.

3works well-- after you figure it out  Dec 30, 2010 By figgyfinicky
This mp3 player comes with two pairs of headphones, a usb cable, an instruction manual, and some different-sized covers for the headphones. Out of the box, it looked exactly liked the picture, so I was pretty pleased with that. The manual's instructions to operate it seemed pretty simple: plug the device into the computer, then copy and paste songs from your computer's music folder to the player's icon in the My Computer section of your computer's files. I did this, and then charged it overnight by attaching it to my computer just like the manual says.
The next day, I unplugged it, attached some headphones, and tried to get it to play. No such luck, the thing wouldn't even turn on. A red light just flashed at me, and then it would be unresponsive. So, I plugged the mp3 player into my computer again to try to figure out what the problem was, but me computer wouldn't recognize the device! I unplugged it and replugged it in multiple times, with no result. Finally, I restarted my computer and then the device's icon popped up. Upon opening the device's folder to view its files, I noticed that all the songs were arranged it folders according to artist. Thinking that this might be the reason why the mp3 player couldn't play them, I painstakingly copied all of the songs out of the folders and then deleted the duplicate folders. Guess what? It still didn't work! I finally tried one more thing, thinking that if it didn;t work this time I would send it back: I opened winamp and itunes, and transferred all of my songs to winamp, and then directly to the device. This time, I was able to turn it on and it recognized all of the songs.
So, the bottom line is that you need to use trial and error a lot to get this mp3 player to work. It is very cryptic to operate because there are only 3 buttons, and the manual is extremely unhelpful. However, this mp3 player works great underwater, and is very sturdy. A great buy, if you have the time to fiddle with it!

4good product... only one issue  Nov 02, 2010 By e.
good product. i actually ended up cutting off the over-the-ear rubber hooks so that the headphones are just like normal earphones, and then wear a swim cap to keep everything in place. i found that without a cap, the ear phones needed adjusting every few laps. still, overall, good product.

5My new swimming accessory  Apr 28, 2011 By Dlegott
I was a runner until I recently injured my knee. Although I have always liked swimming, I could never think about it as a replacement for my running, that is, until I got this mp3 player! This product is above expectations for me. The bone conduction system really works, the sound is awesome underwater. Also adding songs and creating playlists is extremely easy. Of course, I should note that the sound is awesome for an underwater mp3, do not expect Bose quality. But it is much better than anything I could have imagined in the water. While before I could hardly push myself to swim for 45 minutes, I did 75 minutes like a breeze the day I got the this mp3 player. I recommend this product to everyone.
