4Decent quality for the price  Dec 21, 2010 By I. Chittick
Thanks to the other reviews, I pretty much knew what to expect. My review is a response to the others:
1. I live in an area with iffy radio reception but I've gotten ok reception out of this. The higher frequency stations tuned in really well.
2. The radio audio was generally MUCH louder than the CD audio.
3. When playing classical CDs, the audio is not audible when my shower is on. But for contemporary music, the levels are acceptable but not great.
4. The clock can be changed at any point by HOLDING DOWN the `Time' button while pressing the hours and minutes buttons to adjust the time. You should be able to change the time at will.
5. I was able to change modes and adjust tuner/volume while in the shower and with wet hands.
6. It takes 6 `C' size batteries which ended up costing me $15 (NYC prices) but should hopefully translate to longer lasting power.
7. The anti-fog mirror works.
8. You can put the player on a stand or hang it (both options provided)
I enjoyed mine, perhaps bec. the other reviews set my expectations. Hope my review will help you with your decision.

4Great Reception  Apr 05, 2010 By Linda Niemela "Chilax1"
I bought this to replace an old shower radio that just didn't seem to tune in right anymore. The reception is great and I can tune into any station. Good sound quality. Only drawback is that once you are in the shower and your hands are wet, it's difficult to turn the volume or tuning knobs.

5Clear sounding and sharp looking  May 03, 2010 By D. Mora "doug_passat"
Had this radio for over a month and works fine. Volume is loud specially when playing a cd, won't play mp3 however. Radio reception is clean even though I use it in a basement bathroom. On the plus, the mirror is indeed fog free. Radio can be connected to an ac adapter to save on battery needs, but not included. Would recommend.

5Great!!  Jul 01, 2010 By Janice Marie Buck "jmbuck"
I have gone through several clock radio/CD players for my daughter's bathroom in the past year or so. They would only last a few months and then something broke--either the CD player wouldn't play but the radio and clock worked. Or the display/clock wouldn't work but the CD player would. In any event, wasn't sure if the heat from the bathroom (teenage girls do take long, hot showers) were the culprit but was intrigue when I came across this unit. Since it's made for the shower, I hoped that the heat from the bathroom wouldn't be a factor. And it looks like I was right. So far, no issues at all. Things that I love about it (besides it working) include easy one touch opening for CD placement, all controls are on the front of the unit (no more reaching around the back or side of the unit and hoping you're adjusting the volume and not tuning the radio station) and the stand it comes with to place it on a vanity. It takes up so little space when in the stand, which again is a hot commodity in a teenager's bathroom (among the makeup mirrors, curling irons, hair dryers, etc). The only criticism would be that it doesn't come with an AC-DC adaptor and the display for the time is very small. But even with those bad points, I would recommend this unit 100%.

3Adequate  May 02, 2011 By Okie
All in all, it's an adequate shower radio. It gives the dimensions on the web page, but you really don't get a feel for how big it is until you hang it up in your shower! The clock display is easy to set, but is very small and impossible to read in the shower if you don't have your contacts in. It takes 6 C cell batteries, which again was listed on the deets, but I obviously hadn't fully digested. It's been hanging in my shower for about a month, and I haven't had to replace them yet; either way, I got the rechargeables, so anticipate it not being a problem. The main drawback is that ours is located in an interior bathroom, and has trouble picking up the local radio station; it comes in fuzzy if you're not standing without a few feet of the radio. The mirror hasn't fogged up yet, and the sound is good.
