An amazing case for those who dont mind the bulk Oct 17, 2010

Mini review: I got my Otterbox defender after going over many reviews and information out on the interwebs and I think I made the right decision. Yes it is bigger, if you are looking for slim then move along. The added bulk took very little time to get used to and I was already holding my phone more comfortably which I think adds to the protection factor.
The case and silicone outer covering seems like it will take a beating. I work in a professional environment (I.T.) but I play in a more physical one. I build/restore/modify cars in my spare time and the phone spends a great deal of time in my shop and phone of my past have met much fate to a tool or the shop floor. While I haven't tested how the case will do, I am fairly convinced it will have a better chance at survival.

Too Big for My Pocket Oct 12, 2011

The curve fits in my pocket just fine without the Defender Case. The case makes it too big and it is hard to use the outer keys on the keyboard. I give it a 5 star because the product does meet what it says it is. Extremely rugged, you drop your BlackBerry with this thing and it will not harm it. Very thick layer of protection. However, I would rather not use it. I rather be able to slip the curve in my pocket. My curve is the 9330.

While using the otter box, my husbands phone got run over by a semi truck. The screen cracked, however, the phone was in tack.

"Dieting Spouse"
A co-worker had one on his Blackberry and I thought that it looked really cool. Checked it out on AMAZON and saved a bunch over purchasing directly from Otterbox. This case replaced a 2 piece (POS by comparison) plastic case and the Otter Box product provides far superior protection against accidental drops and for the keyboard and the screen on the BB Curve 9300.

I ordered 2. One for me and one for my fiance. It arrived a day before I expected and wasn't damaged. It took about 5 minutes to put it on my phone and I instantly fell in love with it. I feel my phone is almost indestructible! This case improves the looks of my phone and gives me peace of mind knowing that if i drop my phone, it is protected. I would recommend the OtterBox to anyone who wants a premium case with ultimate protection.
