 Doesn't work for Incredible Jul 07, 2010

If a deal seems to good to be true, it usually is. When I tried plugging this into the USB port on my laptop to charge, it comes up with the options to charge only, use as a disk drive, and then flashes off and shows it is not charging, and then flashes back to charging again. Save your money to buy something that will actually work for the incredible.

Works for charging, but not for data. Jul 12, 2010

When I connected this cable to my computer, it seemed to work fine for charging. Once I tried to connect my Droid Incredible in Disk mode, however, Windows refused to recognize it, popping up notifications about driver issues. Switching back to the stock HTC cable resolved these problems.
If all you want to do is charge a phone, this ought to be fine. For data, however, I would recommend looking into a cable that has a proven track record. The one I received doesn't perform up to the standards I would expect.

Very disappointed to have received a charger for the Motorola Droid NOT the HTC Incredible as listed. When I took a picture and sent (as they requested) of the charger end, they insisted I cram it in to make it fit. A Motorola Droid is not the same manufacturer and the HTC Incredible---they are NOT interchangeable. One is a Micro and one is a Mini. The Incredible's charging port has a slight concaved bend in the shape. I bought a cord on Ebay for half what this Amazon "store" known as LowestPriceUSA is pretending to sell.

These cables do not work. They were too cheap to bother contacting seller and returning, that's probably what's hoped for by seller! DON'T BUY THESE, they are generic and DO NOT WORK!!!

It not only doesn't work, but makes my phone flash on and off. It briefly recognizes the hook up, then flashes off, all to no avail. It is a complete waste of money, and now my phone is still dead.
