great for work. dropped it a few times, didnt break. only plastic piece on inside. also clip is good cause it comes off sometimes but at least it doesnt break off.

Great Case, lack of instructions Oct 05, 2009

i ordered my case on thursday and got it monday. really quick shipping. its really protective of the phone. it makes it pretty much a brick. i was also told it makes the phone look more manly.
my one (of few) problem is that i came with basically no instructions. i didn't need it for the case but to my surprise, in the box with the case was a free screen protector. i had no idea it came with one. but because it had no instructions for the screen protector so i didn't know that it had to be kept extremely clean. the static of the protector was a dirt and hair magnet so i had a hell of a time trying to wash off dirt. next time i'll know.
also, the clip is kind of uncomfortable when you sit down and the fold back rubber for the dock doesn't fit in my sony ipod clock-radio.
otherwise, it's a great case.

I love this case. It is tough, and sturdy, I know my IPhone is safe. I think it looks cool too. Kind of like a tire. I am sure it will really protect my phone in the horrible event of a short drop. The rubber tire design really makes it great for gripping to play games or talk on the phone. Yes. it does add a little bit of bulk to the phone, but really that is a tradeoff I will make to protect my investment. I don't use the belt clip, because like most belt clips, it will fall off if tugged on, but using the belt clip in the stand mode to watch videos, etc. works great, so I did keep it for that. You can use the belt clip to clip it to an inside purse pocket maybe, to make it easier to find in the blackness of the purse interior, but I don't trust it on my hip.

I have dropped my iPhone so many times and the Speck has saved it just as many! I've purchased 3 so far, one for every new iPhone model. I cannot imagine my phone without it. Although a bit bulky and tough to slip into my jeans pocket, the sacrifice is so worth when you see your phone drop on concrete and the case saves it from ANY and ALL damage!
